El Baúl De Las Bandas: Amon Amarth (Ed. 9)

Buenas y santas queridos lectores! Hoy les vengo a presentar una banda de la cual no soy fan ni nada por el estilo, pero por lo que veo, pronto lo seré jaja. Amon Amarth es una banda sueca (Tumba, Suecia) que se dedica a hacer death metal melodic; se forma en el año 1992 y su nombre significa "Monte Del Destino" (en lengua élfica, creada por el genio John Ronald Reuel Tolkien).

En sus inicios, la banda tenía por nombre "Scum" y por género grindcore, conformado en ese entonces por:

*Themgoroth (Paul Mäkitalo)

*Olavi Mikkonen

*Ted Lundström

Al unírseles el señor Hegg (al que vemos en la siguiente foto) la banda finalmente se vuelca llanamente al death metal melodic.

*Johan Hegg

Durante su tiempo de "Scum", la banda permaneció con un perfil bajo, hasta que cambiaron el nombre por el actual, donde según ellos se pusieron "más serios" y desarrollaron un concepto lírico de la vida y muerte de los vikingos y la mitología nórdica.
